The Working Group on Development Policy, Poverty, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPPME) in collaboration with ISSER Measurement, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) Unit of the University of Ghana organized a training program in STATA applications using large datasets. The training programme was designed to equip participants in primary research on the use of STATA and SPSS in analyzing large quantitative datasets. The course content included;

  • Introduction to STATA
  • Analysis of census data
  • Comparing two sample means (T-test and ANOVA)
  • Merging of datasets
  • Qualitative analysis

The training was held from December 14 – 18, 2015. A total of twenty PhD students from various departments across campus attended the training at the ISSER-MLE Training Lab.
