The 2018 Short Courses Programme organised by the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, started today, 28th May 2018.
Professor Felix Ankomah Asante, Director of ISSER, formally opened the programme this morning after a short but impressive ceremony at ISSER Annex.
Prof Asante asked the participants to take the programme seriously and be good ambassadors of ISSER after the programme. He disclosed that ISSER could provide tailor-made programmes for institutions upon request, as ISSER is willing to build capacities.
Dr Aba Crentsil of the Social Division of ISSER is coordinating the first programme, which focuses on Research Methodology, Report Writing, Data Management and Analysis, Project Cycle Management, and Survey Techniques. So far, fifty participants have registered for the eight-week programme.
ISSER welcomes all 2018 Short Courses Programme participants.
