The Measurement, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) Unit of the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), with support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) provides cutting–edge research solutions and technical assistance services to institutions that are implementing development projects in Ghana and the sub-region. The Unit also provides operational services across all aspects of survey research and practice; from study design to data collection and storage, analysis and dissemination of findings. The MLE Unit during its set-up phase over the past one and half years has collaborated with various institutions, organizations and donor agencies like the World Bank, AGRA, IFPRI among others.

The Measurement Learning and Evaluation (MLE) Unit since its inception in November, 2013 has seen major progress. The Unit has two MLE advisors with general oversight from the Director of ISSER. Additionally, the Unit has a Business Manager, an Assistant Business Manager , an operations Manager , two research Assistants and an intern.
